Due to its cast recessed grip the transportable machine can be used for rapid machining of all materials.
The work table encloses the disc on either side, tilts down and up by means of two solidly engraved segments with graduated scale (reading accuracy 30 min.) and is located with a re-adjustable 0-lock.
The work table is mounted 36 mm below the centre of the disc and can be titled forward for abrasive paper changing. The work table is equipped with a longitudinal guide groove for the protractor.

Zimmermann disc sanding machines have a sturdy, cast machine base and are used for rapid machining. The sanding discs are completely safe in operation and can be mounted directly onto the motor shaft.
The arrangement of the sanding discs enables especially the machining of angular work pieces right into the corners.
The right- and left-hand rotation of the sanding disc ensures full utilisation of the abrasive paper. The table is supported on both sides and encloses the disc on either side. During tilting up and down the distance between table and the disc remains constant.
The disc sanding machines SZ 1/2 and SZ 3/4 can be delivered single or double sided, whereby an easy subsequent conversion to a double sided machine is possible.
