In the first week of December, we were pleased to welcome colleagues from our North American subsidiary Zimmermann Inc. to the headquarters of F. Zimmermann GmbH in Neuhausen, Germany. Team members traveled from across the United States \u2013 the East Coast, Midwest and West Coast \u2013 to participate in training sessions, strengthen connections with German colleagues and grow together on both a professional and personal level. <\/strong><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\nTwo Teams \u2013 One goal<\/strong><\/h5>\nThe visiting group consisted of representatives from Sales and Service, both with a shared goal: deepening technical expertise, exchanging market insights and strengthening collaboration across borders.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nDeep insights into production and mechanical engineering<\/strong><\/h5>\nA particular highlight was the in-depth look into our production facility. The team was able to see multiple machines at different stages of the build cycle and took part in a pre-acceptance test of an FZU32 together with one of our long-standing customers. The factory tour clearly demonstrated how closely the various departments work together to build Zimmermann\u2019s high-precision portal milling machines.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/h5>\nIntensive training for the service team<\/strong><\/h5>\nThe entire week was devoted to practical training for the service team. The program included:
\u2022 Software training (Heidenhain and Siemens)
\u2022 Training at the Zimmermann milling head stand
\u2022 Tool changers
\u2022 Laser measurement
The focus was on application-oriented training to optimally prepare the service team for the requirements of the North American market and further strengthen the quality of service for our customers.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nSales team: Experiencing machines live in action<\/strong><\/h5>\nAt the same time, the sales team visited various customers in the region to experience Zimmermann machines directly in the field and seek personal exchange with users. The program was supplemented by product training and intensive discussions with German colleagues on technical innovations, market developments, and future product lines.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nTeam spirit, exchange, and Christmas spirit<\/strong><\/h5>\nIn addition to the technical program, there was also plenty of opportunity for personal exchange: joint dinners, conversations away from the daily work routine, visits to Christmas markets, and a joint Christmas party at the end of the week created a special atmosphere and strengthened team cohesion across national borders.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\nComments on the week<\/strong><\/h5>\nTimothy<\/strong>, Zimmermann Inc.: “The week was a fantastic experience, filled with hands-on extended training to aid the North American customer base, insights into future product line offerings and development, and the building of camaraderie between the Zimmermann Germany and Zimmermann North American teams.\u201c<\/p>\nGabriel,<\/strong> Zimmermann Inc.: \u201cWhat I enjoyed most was working with the Zimmermann Inc. team alongside the German team. Everyone had a lot of fun bringing both worlds together. The joint training sessions were excellent, as were the evenings spent dining out and, of course, visiting the Christmas markets. We all had a really good time.\u201d<\/p>\nFrieder<\/strong>, F. Zimmermann: \u201cThe visit showed once again how valuable personal interaction is. Joint training sessions, open discussions, and direct interaction not only strengthen technical understanding, but above all a shared understanding of quality, service, and teamwork. This week has further strengthened international cohesion and forms a strong basis for future projects.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The visiting group consisted of representatives from Sales and Service, both with a shared goal: deepening technical expertise, exchanging market insights and strengthening collaboration across borders.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nDeep insights into production and mechanical engineering<\/strong><\/h5>\nA particular highlight was the in-depth look into our production facility. The team was able to see multiple machines at different stages of the build cycle and took part in a pre-acceptance test of an FZU32 together with one of our long-standing customers. The factory tour clearly demonstrated how closely the various departments work together to build Zimmermann\u2019s high-precision portal milling machines.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/h5>\nIntensive training for the service team<\/strong><\/h5>\nThe entire week was devoted to practical training for the service team. The program included:
\u2022 Software training (Heidenhain and Siemens)
\u2022 Training at the Zimmermann milling head stand
\u2022 Tool changers
\u2022 Laser measurement
The focus was on application-oriented training to optimally prepare the service team for the requirements of the North American market and further strengthen the quality of service for our customers.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nSales team: Experiencing machines live in action<\/strong><\/h5>\nAt the same time, the sales team visited various customers in the region to experience Zimmermann machines directly in the field and seek personal exchange with users. The program was supplemented by product training and intensive discussions with German colleagues on technical innovations, market developments, and future product lines.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nTeam spirit, exchange, and Christmas spirit<\/strong><\/h5>\nIn addition to the technical program, there was also plenty of opportunity for personal exchange: joint dinners, conversations away from the daily work routine, visits to Christmas markets, and a joint Christmas party at the end of the week created a special atmosphere and strengthened team cohesion across national borders.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\nComments on the week<\/strong><\/h5>\nTimothy<\/strong>, Zimmermann Inc.: “The week was a fantastic experience, filled with hands-on extended training to aid the North American customer base, insights into future product line offerings and development, and the building of camaraderie between the Zimmermann Germany and Zimmermann North American teams.\u201c<\/p>\nGabriel,<\/strong> Zimmermann Inc.: \u201cWhat I enjoyed most was working with the Zimmermann Inc. team alongside the German team. Everyone had a lot of fun bringing both worlds together. The joint training sessions were excellent, as were the evenings spent dining out and, of course, visiting the Christmas markets. We all had a really good time.\u201d<\/p>\nFrieder<\/strong>, F. Zimmermann: \u201cThe visit showed once again how valuable personal interaction is. Joint training sessions, open discussions, and direct interaction not only strengthen technical understanding, but above all a shared understanding of quality, service, and teamwork. A particular highlight was the in-depth look into our production facility. The team was able to see multiple machines at different stages of the build cycle and took part in a pre-acceptance test of an FZU32 together with one of our long-standing customers. The factory tour clearly demonstrated how closely the various departments work together to build Zimmermann\u2019s high-precision portal milling machines.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/h5>\nIntensive training for the service team<\/strong><\/h5>\nThe entire week was devoted to practical training for the service team. The program included:
\u2022 Software training (Heidenhain and Siemens)
\u2022 Training at the Zimmermann milling head stand
\u2022 Tool changers
\u2022 Laser measurement
The focus was on application-oriented training to optimally prepare the service team for the requirements of the North American market and further strengthen the quality of service for our customers.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nSales team: Experiencing machines live in action<\/strong><\/h5>\nAt the same time, the sales team visited various customers in the region to experience Zimmermann machines directly in the field and seek personal exchange with users. The program was supplemented by product training and intensive discussions with German colleagues on technical innovations, market developments, and future product lines.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nTeam spirit, exchange, and Christmas spirit<\/strong><\/h5>\nIn addition to the technical program, there was also plenty of opportunity for personal exchange: joint dinners, conversations away from the daily work routine, visits to Christmas markets, and a joint Christmas party at the end of the week created a special atmosphere and strengthened team cohesion across national borders.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\nComments on the week<\/strong><\/h5>\nTimothy<\/strong>, Zimmermann Inc.: “The week was a fantastic experience, filled with hands-on extended training to aid the North American customer base, insights into future product line offerings and development, and the building of camaraderie between the Zimmermann Germany and Zimmermann North American teams.\u201c<\/p>\nGabriel,<\/strong> Zimmermann Inc.: \u201cWhat I enjoyed most was working with the Zimmermann Inc. team alongside the German team. Everyone had a lot of fun bringing both worlds together. The joint training sessions were excellent, as were the evenings spent dining out and, of course, visiting the Christmas markets. We all had a really good time.\u201d<\/p>\nFrieder<\/strong>, F. Zimmermann: \u201cThe visit showed once again how valuable personal interaction is. Joint training sessions, open discussions, and direct interaction not only strengthen technical understanding, but above all a shared understanding of quality, service, and teamwork. The entire week was devoted to practical training for the service team. The program included:
\u2022 Software training (Heidenhain and Siemens)
\u2022 Training at the Zimmermann milling head stand
\u2022 Tool changers
\u2022 Laser measurement
The focus was on application-oriented training to optimally prepare the service team for the requirements of the North American market and further strengthen the quality of service for our customers.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nSales team: Experiencing machines live in action<\/strong><\/h5>\nAt the same time, the sales team visited various customers in the region to experience Zimmermann machines directly in the field and seek personal exchange with users. The program was supplemented by product training and intensive discussions with German colleagues on technical innovations, market developments, and future product lines.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nTeam spirit, exchange, and Christmas spirit<\/strong><\/h5>\nIn addition to the technical program, there was also plenty of opportunity for personal exchange: joint dinners, conversations away from the daily work routine, visits to Christmas markets, and a joint Christmas party at the end of the week created a special atmosphere and strengthened team cohesion across national borders.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\nComments on the week<\/strong><\/h5>\nTimothy<\/strong>, Zimmermann Inc.: “The week was a fantastic experience, filled with hands-on extended training to aid the North American customer base, insights into future product line offerings and development, and the building of camaraderie between the Zimmermann Germany and Zimmermann North American teams.\u201c<\/p>\nGabriel,<\/strong> Zimmermann Inc.: \u201cWhat I enjoyed most was working with the Zimmermann Inc. team alongside the German team. Everyone had a lot of fun bringing both worlds together. The joint training sessions were excellent, as were the evenings spent dining out and, of course, visiting the Christmas markets. We all had a really good time.\u201d<\/p>\nFrieder<\/strong>, F. Zimmermann: \u201cThe visit showed once again how valuable personal interaction is. Joint training sessions, open discussions, and direct interaction not only strengthen technical understanding, but above all a shared understanding of quality, service, and teamwork. At the same time, the sales team visited various customers in the region to experience Zimmermann machines directly in the field and seek personal exchange with users. The program was supplemented by product training and intensive discussions with German colleagues on technical innovations, market developments, and future product lines.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/h5>\nTeam spirit, exchange, and Christmas spirit<\/strong><\/h5>\nIn addition to the technical program, there was also plenty of opportunity for personal exchange: joint dinners, conversations away from the daily work routine, visits to Christmas markets, and a joint Christmas party at the end of the week created a special atmosphere and strengthened team cohesion across national borders.<\/p>\n

Everyone had a lot of fun bringing both worlds together. The joint training sessions were excellent, as were the evenings spent dining out and, of course, visiting the Christmas markets. In addition to the technical program, there was also plenty of opportunity for personal exchange: joint dinners, conversations away from the daily work routine, visits to Christmas markets, and a joint Christmas party at the end of the week created a special atmosphere and strengthened team cohesion across national borders.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\n\u00a0<\/h5>\nComments on the week<\/strong><\/h5>\nTimothy<\/strong>, Zimmermann Inc.: “The week was a fantastic experience, filled with hands-on extended training to aid the North American customer base, insights into future product line offerings and development, and the building of camaraderie between the Zimmermann Germany and Zimmermann North American teams.\u201c<\/p>\nGabriel,<\/strong> Zimmermann Inc.: \u201cWhat I enjoyed most was working with the Zimmermann Inc. team alongside the German team. Everyone had a lot of fun bringing both worlds together. The joint training sessions were excellent, as were the evenings spent dining out and, of course, visiting the Christmas markets. We all had a really good time.\u201d<\/p>\nFrieder<\/strong>, F. Zimmermann: \u201cThe visit showed once again how valuable personal interaction is. Joint training sessions, open discussions, and direct interaction not only strengthen technical understanding, but above all a shared understanding of quality, service, and teamwork. Everyone had a lot of fun bringing both worlds together. The joint training sessions were excellent, as were the evenings spent dining out and, of course, visiting the Christmas markets.
