The 5-axis portal milling machine FZ 25 offers the universal solution for machining highly complex and voluminous components. Model and composite materials and light metals are machined with this HSC gantry machine. This series meets industry-specific requirements from many areas, for example in automotive design, where large, voluminous models are produced, or in model and mould making, especially when very large workpieces with deep contours are processed.
It is also perfect for use in boat and shipbuilding and in the wind power industry, since the parts used there often have elongated shapes, as well as in aircraft construction, e.g. when milling panels, other large components and parts with extreme contours.
The fork head is a mono block cast version. Despite its small size, the VH10 reached high clamping forces and thus allows a stable component processing. An effective process cooling with cooling lubricants and/or minimum quantity lubrication are optionally available. In particular, the VH10 is suitable for aluminum and composite material, plastics, UREOL and clay milling.
